Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is famous for his distinct style of rappers. Baker was originally born in Houston, Texas U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990, to parents of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries. During his childhood the Bakers traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker, his father, struggled with depression as well as unemployment. The mother of his son Sonia Alane had left him as he was nine. Baker and his dad moved to Denver in the United States, and they stayed in the home of his dad's aunt. Baker's inability to pay for school was the cause for bullying by kids in the area. When he reached the sixth grade, Baker started to take up the art of rap. Colson Baker, better known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. His compositions are known to blend modern hip-hop and rock with alternative rock. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. These Cleveland artist, who can deliver songs as quickly as bullets, saw an explosive rise in the latter part of 2011, when he switched from self-publishing mixtapes to signing with reputable labels. His career took off from there, with all of his albums reaching the top 10 charts.
